A month after buying the modem and datacard at a total cost close to 300GHC, I have not even received 24 hours worth of the 3.5G broadband speed they keep making noise about. The service is down most of the time and very erratic when it's up. What I get is a GPRS speed of less than 5kb/sec which is even worse than a dial-up connection. I'm sorry MTN your need to unnecessarily compete does not mean your customers should suffer because you are not fully ready to offer the service. And your staff have been very unhelpful to say the least (I am so tempted to name names). Customer Service, through IT and whoever is in charge of the so-called 3.5G service. Be reminded that browsing on a phone is not the same as browsing on a laptop. MTN wake up to your commitments to your customers!! We are paying for the service, it's not for free!!
