CRa launches WiMAX service in Prague

Czech alternative operator Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Falcon Group which is itself 74.6%-owned by Mid Europa Partners, has reportedly launched a new 3.5GHz WiMAX service in Prague offering voice, data and internet access services to SMEs in the capital. Dutch company Telecompaper says that its WiMAX-based services are currently only available in Prague and its environs. CRa is offering a number of tariff plans for the new service, including a premium WiMAX offering, and is targeting residential and business customers.
